We’re Hiring: Cook / Chef Jobs in Bridlington
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team, ahead of our reopening on 1st April 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, visitor-focused environment and wants to be part of a much-loved attraction on the Yorkshire coast.
The Role
As Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, freshly prepared food for our visitors, guests in our popular tearoom.
Our menu includes breakfasts, toasted paninis, light lunches, afternoon teas, and homemade cakes.
This role would suit someone with a genuine love of food, a strong work ethic, and the creativity to help develop seasonal menus that reflect our family-friendly setting.
Key Responsibilities
•Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
•Supporting menu development, including daily specials and child-friendly options
•Working efficiently during busy service periods
•Contributing positively to a friendly, supportive kitchen team
•Ensure full compliance with current food hygiene, kitchen safety, and food handling legislation, working in line with all relevant guidance and best practices at all times
•Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and kitchen safety
About You
A positive, proactive attitude and strong team spirit
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Available for weekend work, peak periods, and special events
Key Requirements
•Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
•Good understanding of allergens, dietary requirements, and safe food handling
•Knowledge of kitchen hygiene procedures and health & safety standards
The Details
This is a seasonal, 5-day-per-week role in our busy tea room, starting mid-late March and running from 1st April to the end of September.
