We’re Hiring: Painter & Decorator / Maintenance Jobs in Bridlington
We are looking for a Painter & Decorator / Maintenance professional to support preparations for the 2026 season at Bondville Model Village, ahead of our reopening on 1st April 2026.
This is an temporary ad hoc, flexible role, ideal for someone multi-skilled who enjoys working in a unique, creative environment.
The Role
You will play a key part in getting the village ready for opening, supporting with painting, decorating and general upkeep, as well as contributing creatively to the overall look and feel of the site.
Key Responsibilities
● Painting and decorating across the village, including buildings and facilities
● Supporting with general maintenance and repairs
● Assisting with ongoing upkeep of the village
● Helping to prepare the site to a high standard ahead of opening
● Bringing a creative flair to enhance the visual appearance of the model village
● Completing jobs efficiently and within agreed timescales
About You
● Experienced painter and decorator, ideally with additional maintenance skills
● Practical, reliable and able to work independently
● Organised and able to meet deadlines
● Takes pride in high-quality work
● Creative and enthusiastic about working in a visitor attraction environment
Hours & Contract
● Ad hoc / flexible hours
● Work available immediately
● Must be able to commit time to ensure jobs are completed promptly ahead of the 2026 opening
● £12.50 – £14 per hour dependant on skills and experience
