One of our wonderful visitors even went a step further, writing a beautiful fictional story about Bondville’s secret life when the tourists go home.

“In the quaint village of Sewerby, nestled by the sea in East Yorkshire, stood Bondville, a charming Model Village. The village was a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world. However, what the tourists didn’t know was that this miniature village held a magical secret.
As the sun began to set and the last visitors left, the village would transform. The tiny buildings, meticulously crafted with intricate details, would stir to life. The sound of laughter and chatter would fill the air as the miniature residents emerged from their homes.
The villagers, not much taller than your thumb, would go about their evening routines. The village pub would fill with patrons enjoying a pint of ale or playing games of darts. The village green would host lively games of cricket, while the miniature railway would chug along its tracks, carrying passengers on a scenic tour of the village. There were even weddings in the beautiful village church!
At the heart of the village was a wise and kind mayor, Mr Potter. He would oversee the evening’s festivities, ensuring everyone had a wonderful time. The villagers adored him, and he took great pride in keeping their secret safe from the outside world.
One evening, the curious owner of the village, Rachel, stumbled upon the village’s magic. She had stayed behind to clean up and was amazed by the sight of the miniature villagers going about their lives. Mr. Potter, noticing Rachel’s presence, approached her.
